Richard has huge experience of risk management practices, especially in financial institutions.

Richard has created risk frameworks for Enterprise Risk Management and Operational risk management and has designed and implemented systems to support risk management in large and small financial institutions throughout the world.

As a member of the Board Risk and Compliance committee of the ECB regulated bank permanenttsb, Richard is constantly involved in major risk management decisions and reviews.

STIR is involved with the Institute of Banking in the provision of it’s Professional Certificate in Operational Risk Management. Successful participants of this programme will be awarded both the Certificate from University College Dublin and the globally recognised PRMIA Operational Risk Manager Certificate.
